Looks like Saishu Mirai Shoujo (最終未来少女) are keeping their triangle strong for now. Despite over 3,000 hopefuls signing up for their “next-generation audition” in search of a new member, not a single applicant made the cut.
The three-member idol group — known for their strikingly “AI-like” visuals (though they’re absolutely human) — will continue with their current line-up: Ten, Yuika, and Luuna.

A Massive Audition with a Surprising Result
The recruitment opened back in August under Mint Productions, drawing thousands of young women eager to join the futuristic-looking trio.
But when the results dropped on earlier this week fans were hit with the unexpected: no one passed.
According to the management, plenty of talented candidates came through, but the team ultimately decided that no one quite matched the “distinct chemistry and identity” of Saishu Mirai Shoujo at this point.
The agency said they couldn’t clearly picture any candidate seamlessly joining the existing line-up — and so, the trio remains untouched.
Continuing with Strength as Three
During their regular live event “AI PLANET #9 – Halloween –” held at SELENE b2 in Shirokane Takanawa, the members themselves announced the results.
To balance the disappointment, they also dropped some exciting news — the group will hold a solo live show titled “Saishu Mirai Shoujo -RE:TRIΔNGLE-” at Zepp Shinjuku on 9 January 2026.
From the newly unveiled teaser video and visual poster, fans could feel the renewed energy of the trio as they aim for their biggest stage yet.
It’s clear they’re sticking together stronger than ever, using this moment to reinforce what makes Saishu Mirai Shoujo stand out: futuristic visuals, perfect synchronisation, and a charm that blurs the line between real and virtual.
Auditions May Be Over, But the Search Isn’t
Although no one joined this round, Mint Productions hinted that they’ll keep scouting for new talent.
Future auditions might still be on the horizon — so aspiring idols shouldn’t lose hope just yet.
For now, fans can look forward to the group’s Zepp Shinjuku concert and continued activities under the current three-member system.
Judging from their momentum, Saishu Mirai Shoujo’s story as “the trio that looks straight out of an AI generator” is only getting started.
