Xu Yiyang has been one busy bride-to-be lately!
As her much-talked-about wedding with Huang Zitao draws nearer, the actress and singer has been in full bridal mode — trying on an impressive twelve wedding gowns in search of “the one.”
Each gown brought a different vibe to the room.

Standing beside her, Huang Zitao seemed completely smitten — fans who were present said he kept repeating, “Beautiful, beautiful,” every time she stepped out in a new look.
Xu Yiyang’s fashion sense clearly shines through her bridal picks — she leans towards fitted bodices paired with voluminous skirts, a mix that highlights her 170 cm frame beautifully while keeping things graceful and timeless.

Some of her dress choices sparked playful chatter online, with fans joking they looked like “fairy queen costumes” or “photoshoot fantasy looks,” but most agreed she pulled off each style effortlessly.
Out of all the designs, the blue strapless gown and white mermaid dress seemed to win the crowd’s hearts — and Zitao’s too.
He reportedly called the mermaid gown “especially beautiful” and even joked that seeing her in the palace-style dress made his heart race so much he could only stammer, “Beautiful,” like a fool.

As for when the big day will actually happen, speculation’s been buzzing.
Word on the street says it’s pencilled in for 16 October 2025, a Thursday, though the couple’s studio has clarified that the date isn’t locked yet.
Xu Yiyang did confirm one thing though — the wedding won’t be held on a weekend.
For now, fans are just enjoying every little pre-wedding moment the pair shares — and with Xu Yiyang looking this good in every dress, it’s no wonder Huang Zitao can’t stop smiling.
