| How and Where to Watch Chinese Drama Glory (玉茗茶骨) — Release Date, Cast, and Streaming Details (Photo: Weibo) |
The long-awaited Chinese drama Glory (玉茗茶骨) is about to hit telly, and fans can barely keep calm. Whether you’re into swoony romance, messy ex-co-worker drama, or just here for pure visual delight — this one’s got it all.
What’s the Craic with ‘Glory’?
Set in a world where power, love, and revenge all brew together like a strong cuppa, Glory follows Lu Jianglai (Hou Minghao) — a magistrate who goes from hero to fallen star after being dragged into a scandalous old murder case.
Lost his memory, lost his post, and nearly lost his head — until he’s saved (or rather, captured) by Rong Shanbao (Gulinazha), the fierce and clever daughter of the Tea King.
She’s got history with him, and she’s not letting that go easy.
To get even, she hides who he really is and makes him work under her nose — literally as a stable lad.
What starts as a power game turns into a full-on emotional chess match — revenge, secrets, and, yeah, a bit of slow-burn love that’ll have fans screamin’ into their pillows.

Who’s Behind It All
The drama’s directed by Guo Hao and Zhang Zhi Wei, two proper names in the game, and packed with forty episodes of crisp storytelling, humour, and plenty of “ah no, they didn’t!” moments.
Filming kicked off back in March and wrapped by June 2025, and every teaser since then’s had folk losing it online.
One minute, they’re calling it “a visual feast,” the next, they’re beggin’ for a behind-the-scenes variety show just to watch Hou Minghao and Gulinazha banter off-camera.
When It’s Droppin’
Get your diaries out — Glory premieres 29 December 2025 on Hunan TV and Mango TV, right before the new year hits.
It’s basically your perfect festive binge.
Where to Watch
For the home crowd in China, it’s straight on Hunan TV and Mango TV.
For everyone else — don’t stress, Mango TV International usually uploads with multilingual subtitle options, including English, depending on your region.
If you’re in SEA — Thailand, Malaysia, or Singapore — you can normally grab it through the Mango TV Global app on Android, iOS, or the web.
Just make sure you’ve got the “International” version, not the mainland one.
Some regions may need a VIP pass (usually a few quid a month) to unlock the new eps on release day.
What Fans Are Sayin’
“The cast look so promising — it’s a visual feast!”
“I want this pair to get their own variety show, like, immediately!”
“Lu Jianglai x Rong Shanbao is the pair I didn’t know I needed.”
Basically — everyone’s lost their minds in the best way.
Why You’ll Wanna Watch
Between the misty tea fields, sharp dialogue, and sizzling chemistry, Glory is shaping up to be one of those dramas that hooks you from episode one and doesn’t let go.
Think The Story of Ming Lan meets My Heroic Husband, but with sharper banter and more heart.
So yeah — brew yourself a cuppa, charge your phone, and prepare to spend your year-end hollies stuck to Mango TV.
Premieres 29 December 2025 — don’t say I didn’t warn you!
