| SNH48 12th Request Time Returns with Fresh Format and Dual Voting System in 2026 |
SNH48 Group is gearing up to bring another massive music celebration next spring — the 12th Request Time, officially set for March 2026 in Shanghai.
But this time, they’re shaking things up in a big way with a new “dual mode” concert format that lets fans pick not just their favourite songs, but also their favourite members.
This year’s Request Time will be split into two main stages: the traditional “Request Time Best 30” and the all-new “The 7 LIVE / Voice for You”.
The Best 30 concert sticks to what fans love — a ranking-based stage built entirely from fan votes.
Supporters can choose their favourite tracks from a massive pool of over 800 songs in the SNH48 Group catalogue.

The top 30 will be performed live by members across all five teams: SNH48 (Shanghai), GNZ48 (Guangzhou), BEJ48 (Beijing), CKG48 (Chongqing), and CGT48 (Chengdu).
Those songs will be grouped into three themed blocks:
-
Popular Hits (Rank 1–7)
-
Sunshine Tracks (Rank 8–16)
-
Moonlight Melodies (Rank 17–30)
Introducing “The 7 LIVE / Voice for You”
Here’s where it gets interesting. Instead of voting for songs, fans will now get to vote directly for their favourite idols.
From the pool of TOP48 members and registered participants, seven will be selected as “Golden Song Producers.”

These seven will have full creative control — designing their own stages, picking from a wider list of Mandarin hit songs, and performing brand-new, member-driven stages.
Expect 22 fresh performances crafted by the idols themselves — a concept meant to celebrate creativity, individuality, and fan connection.
Voting is open now via the official site b50.ckg48.com, where fans can cast votes using both “song selection points” and “support points.”
Results will decide both the Best 30 lineup and the seven main stars of The 7 LIVE.
Voting runs from 25 October 2025 at 10:00 CST to 14 December 2025 at 23:59 CST.
Meanwhile, the SNH48 Theatre in Shanghai is getting a facelift too.

Starting 9 October 2025, the building’s exterior will undergo restoration under the “Hongkou Cultural Heritage Facade Reinforcement Project” — previously the Tian Tang Theatre.
Renovations are set to wrap up by 31 December 2025, right on time for the 2026 concert season.
SNH48 Group describes this year’s Request Time as not just a fan event, but a celebration of innovation and connection — a perfect blend of nostalgia and new beginnings.
With dual voting channels and self-produced stages, 2026’s edition promises to be one of the most interactive and artist-driven yet.
