NMB48’s very own talk-queen and 5th-gen veteran Mizuta Shiori has officially announced her graduation from the group.
The announcement came during the “Seishun! Koi no Destination” stage on October 25, 2025, marking the end of a colourful 9-and-a-half-year journey that began back in 2016.
Shiori, known for her lively humour and bright energy, first joined NMB48 as a Kenkyuusei (trainee) before earning her place in Team BII in 2017.
Since then, she’s bounced between teams — Team M, Promoted Members, and back to Team BII — all while becoming a familiar and much-loved presence for fans of the Osaka-based group.

In her emotional on-stage message, Shiori said:
“I, Mizuta Shiori, will be graduating from NMB48. When I think about these past nine and a half years, it feels like such a long time, but it’s gone by so fast. I’ve given everything I have — and I’ve got no regrets.”
She went on to thank her supporters and teammates, saying the experience made her grow both as an idol and as a person.

Shiori also revealed that after leaving NMB48, she plans to end her entertainment career altogether.
Still, she’ll take part in all events related to the group’s 32nd single, inviting fans to come and see her “one last time.”
