Singer-actor Kenny Kwan has reassured fans that he’s doing perfectly fine after a scary-looking mishap during his The Endless Adventure Live in Hong Kong concert.

The incident happened on 27 September, when Kenny attempted a high-energy street workout routine on stage.

In the middle of the stunt, he slipped and landed on his back, causing gasps from the crowd.

Rather than dwelling on the drama, Kenny jumped online to calm everyone down. 

“I want to tell everyone that I am fine,” he wrote on social media.

“I fell many times during practice, so my glute muscles are pretty well-developed. Don’t worry! I watched the video and yeah, it looks scary, but luckily my butt is nice and thick now,” he added with a cheeky laugh.

Speaking to media later, Kenny Kwan admitted the accident was down to his own oversight. 

He explained that he had been preoccupied with adjusting a loose bar from the first night’s show and skipped re-rehearsing that segment.

“Once I got up there, I realised I hadn’t taken a proper breath. That one missing breath made all the difference,” he said. 

“I was kind of mad at myself. Overconfidence leads to failure. My stamina was also an issue — I was too excited and not focused enough.”

Despite the stumble, Kenny Kwan carried on with the rest of the show, proving his professionalism. 

Fans in the arena cheered even louder after he stood up and brushed it off, turning what could’ve been a disaster into a highlight.

Kenny Kwan’s two-night concert was otherwise a huge success. 

He wowed fans with his chiselled physique and daring routines, including an aerial pole-dance style performance that drew screams from the audience.

Plenty of familiar faces in the entertainment industry came to support him.

Notably, Nicholas Tse — rarely seen at public concerts — showed up on the second night, which Kenny said was a big honour.

As for guest performers, Kenny kept things fresh across both nights. 

The first show featured Joey Yung, Charlene Choi, Gillian Chung, Yumiko Cheng and Fiona Sit, while the second night brought in Tyson Yoshi, much to fans’ delight.

Looking back, Kenny Kwan admitted he regretted not delivering two flawless nights in a row, but also saw the humour in the situation. 

His playful remark about his glutes quickly turned into a talking point online, with netizens praising his honesty and resilience.

Mishap or not, Kenny Kwan closed out The Endless Adventure Live on a high note, proving once again that even in the toughest moments, he knows how to keep his cool — and keep the crowd entertained.
