Jay Walk Studio responds to rumours of Dilraba Dilmurat’s contract termination

Previously, Dilraba Dilmurat was rumoured to be leaving Jay Walk Studio as her contract nears expiry, possibly to start her own agency next year.

Looks like the internet’s been getting a bit too excited again. Word’s been flying around that Chinese superstar Dilraba Dilmurat was about to call it quits with her long-time agency Jay Walk Studio (Jiaxing Media)

But turns out – it’s all talk.

On the evening of 27 October, Jiaxing Media jumped straight onto Weibo to clear things up, posting one sharp word: “Fake”.

Jiaxing Media Denies Contract Termination Rumours with Dilraba Dilmurat (Sohu)

No fancy press release, no drama, just a clean clap-back to shut down all that gossip swirling around about contract cuts or internal fall-outs.

Rumours had it that Dilraba signed a 15-year contract with the agency back in 2013, which, if true, would technically end in 2028

When a top celebrity’s contract is nearing its expiration, there’s always plenty of chatter in the industry and among netizens about what might come next.

The same goes for top Chinese actress Dilraba Dilmurat, who has been one of the key figures under Jay Walk Studio (Jiaxing Media) for over a decade.

She joined the agency within a year of her 2013 debut, showing remarkable loyalty by staying put ever since.

Over the past year, however, speculation has been mounting over what Dilraba plans to do once her contract reportedly ends in June 2025

Word on the street suggests that she may choose not to renew her deal with Jay Walk, marking a major turning point in her career.

Insiders say that if a split does happen, it won’t be messy or dramatic.

Instead, it’s expected to be handled in a professional and balanced way.

Jay Walk is said to be keen on persuading her to stay, possibly applying some internal pressure, but not to the extent of creating conflict or bad blood.

If Dilraba does decide to move on, the most likely scenario is that she’ll establish her own agency, building upon the independent studio office she already operates as an actress.

Such a move would align with the growing trend of top Chinese stars seeking greater autonomy and creative control over their careers.

But here’s the catch – neither Dilireba nor Jiaxing’s ever publicly confirmed that detail.

So as of now, there’s no official end date known to the public.

Even better, Dilraba’s official profiles and public listings still show her proudly under Jay Walk Studio, hinting that her partnership with the company’s still ticking along nicely.

So, for fans worrying about a dramatic split — chill. She’s still in the same camp that helped shape her into one of China’s biggest names.

Bit of a storm in a teacup, really.

Jiaxing Media’s short but solid response shows they’re not having any of that wild speculation — and that for now, Dilraba’s staying exactly where she is.
