Still, Jacquelin Ch'ng later gave fans a little peek on social media, sharing dreamy pre-wedding shots and a glimpse of her bridal glow.

Despite the quiet setting, the guest list was anything but plain.

Familiar faces like actress Myolie Wu and her husband Philip Lee were spotted at the event, along with Jacquelin’s sister Lisa Ch’ng and her long-time partner, actor Mat Yeung.

The group apparently arrived in Bali a few days before the ceremony to unwind and celebrate together — with one lovely outdoor dinner under the full moon that had everyone smiling.

According to reports, Jacquelin Ch'ng’s new husband Matthew comes from a well-off family.

His father holds an executive position in a listed company, while Matthew himself is said to have a corporate background.

This marks Jacquelin Ch'ng’s second marriage — her first was to Taiwanese businessman Brian Yang, though the two split in 2022 after a short-lived union.

Following the breakup, Jacquelin Chong was refreshingly open about wanting to give love another chance, even joining a matchmaking event in China that caught fans’ attention.

Unlike her previous relationship, she’s been quite protective of this one, keeping things off the radar until now.

Insiders say Jacquelin prefers to shield her husband from public scrutiny since he’s not from the entertainment scene — fair enough, considering how public her first marriage was.
