| Thai Actor Patrick Nattawat Finkler Reportedly Signs with Tianyu Media as Fans Fear for His Career |
Thai-German rising star Patrick Nattawat Finkler (Chinese name: Yin Haoyu / 尹浩宇) has suddenly found himself trending across Chinese social media after rumours broke that he’s joined Tianyu Media, the same agency once linked to the late actor Yu Menglong.
As soon as the news surfaced, Chinese netizens went into overdrive.
Comments like “Run if you can!” and “Don’t let him get dragged into this!” filled Weibo threads, showing just how worried fans are about Patrick’s next move.
Tianyu Media isn’t just any entertainment company — it’s known for being deeply tied to state-affiliated media networks, with connections spanning politics, business, and television.
The agency also has close ties to Mango Super Media, a listed company under the Hunan Broadcasting and Television Group umbrella.
But right now, things aren’t looking rosy for Mango Super Media.

According to Star EBC, the company’s stock has been on a sharp downward spiral.
On 9 October, it fell 6.68%, followed by another 5.12% drop on 10 October — wiping out more than ¥7.67 billion RMB (about USD 1.07 billion) in market value within just two days.
Adding to the chaos, two deputy general managers — Luo Zejun and Shen Yadong — resigned within weeks of each other, officially citing “work transfers” and “personal reasons.”
Still, many online reckon there’s more to the story, with speculation swirling about internal reshuffles and financial instability.
Reports floating around claim that Patrick quietly signed with Tianyu Media back in May 2025.
The idea alone was enough to spark panic among fans, who quickly began questioning the decision.
Some pleaded online for the actor’s management to reconsider, while others bluntly asked: “Can his contract still be cancelled?”
The concern isn’t unfounded — Tianyu’s reputation has been shaky lately, and fans fear that any association could harm Patrick’s clean image and international momentum.

Patrick Nattawat, best known internationally for his standout role in Netflix’s “The Resurrected”, has been on a solid upward climb, steadily building his name across Thailand, China, and Southeast Asia.
His multilingual appeal and growing popularity make him one of the more promising young actors from the Thai entertainment scene with a real shot at global recognition.
However, neither Patrick Finkler nor Tianyu Media has made any official statement about the rumour so far. Until then, everything remains speculative — though that hasn’t stopped fans from worrying or social media from buzzing.
