Former Idol Renaissance and Niji no Conquistador (NijiCon) member Harada Suzuka (often known as Suzu) has gone viral after sharing a video titled “The day I attended my fan’s wedding” — and it’s basically the most wholesome thing you’ll see this week.
The short clip, showing Suzu joining the wedding of a female fan who’s supported her for eight years, has now racked up over 590,000 views on social media.
Fans flooded the comments with reactions like “The ideal fan–idol relationship!” and “This is pure happiness.”
A Wedding Invite Born From a Joke
Harada Suzuka revealed that it all began rather casually — her longtime fan half-jokingly said, “Come to my wedding!” and Suzu instantly replied, “Okay, I’ll be there!”
What started as a playful exchange turned into a genuinely touching reunion.

She explained,
“That fan spent my idol years with me — she was there through my highs and lows. So when she asked, I really wanted to return the favour somehow.”
Even after graduating from NijiCon in early 2024, Suzu continued to perform as a singer-songwriter and started working at a concept café she helps produce, where the two reconnected as friends beyond the usual fan–idol boundary.

At the wedding, Harada Suzuka found herself seated at a table completely surrounded by her own fans — some she hadn’t seen in four or five years.
“It honestly felt like a reunion concert,” she laughed.
“Everyone caught up on each other’s lives, and even asked if I remembered their real names — which I sometimes didn’t!”

Throughout the night, other guests approached Suzu for autographs and photos, making her feel like a mini-celebrity again.
“People came over saying, ‘Can I get your signature?’ and I thought — wow, I feel famous again!”

The bride, who had followed Harada Suzuka since her idol debut, even added subtle nods to her oshi throughout the ceremony — from the entrance music and pamphle tributes to gifts in Suzu’s member colour.

“To see how much of her memories include me… it made me realise I’m so glad I kept going. It was emotional in the best way.”
She added that seeing her fan’s happiness inspired her too:
“She used to shout ‘Marry me!’ at my events — now she’s married for real! Watching her wedding made me think, maybe marriage isn’t such a bad idea after all.”
