| Is Wang Xiaochen married to actor Yu Haoming? |
Chinese actress Wang Xiaochen has finally spoken up about the swirling rumours linking her to fellow actor Yu Haoming – and she’s made it clear she’s still very much a single woman.
During a recent group interview to promote her new family comedy Happy Parents Group 2, Wang Xiaochen was asked about reports claiming she and Yu Haoming had tied the knot earlier this year. Shutting it down with a smile, she explained:
“At the moment, I have no family and no children of my own. Aside from my original family, I haven’t yet entered the next chapter of life.”
The 36-year-old went on to say that while she’s still learning what marriage and parenting might mean in real life, she’s had plenty of insight thanks to her latest role, which dives into the ups and downs of modern family life.
Where the rumours started
The gossip mill first went into overdrive in May, when Yu Haoming shared a photo of himself holding a woman’s hand – complete with a sparkling diamond ring.

He captioned the snap with a heartfelt message:
“In love, I regret all the past. Only now do I understand that I’ve loved only one person. Until you appeared, I feel that all the pain I endured in the past was worth it!”
Fans immediately speculated the woman in the post was Wang Xiaochen, and many assumed the couple had quietly gotten engaged or even married.
This wasn’t the first time Yu Haoming hinted at their romance.
Back in June last year, he posted a cosy photo of the two embracing.

Later, in October, the pair were spotted hanging love locks together on a mountaintop in South Korea – the kind of gesture usually reserved for couples sealing their bond.
Despite Wang Xiaochen’s denial of any wedding bells, she and Yu have certainly been inseparable.
They were reportedly introduced to each other’s families in 2024, holidayed together in Austria this August, and most recently, were photographed holding hands in public on 17 September.
So while marriage may not be on the cards just yet, the relationship appears to be steady and serious – with Wang keeping her private life under wraps while focusing on her work.
For now, she’s happy balancing on-screen family lessons with her own personal pace in love.
