Chinese actress Shen Yue (沈月), best known for her breakout role in Meteor Garden, finally met her Malaysian fans in person — and let’s just say the emotions were running high on both sides.

On 17th September 2025, MangoTV, together with Shen Yue, hosted her much-anticipated fan meeting at Zepp Kuala Lumpur.

This was the first time the 28-year-old star had ever held an event in Malaysia, and she looked every bit the princess as she graced the stage in elegant outfits.

Fans were treated to games, live interaction, and even a mini concert where Shen Yue performed several songs.

A Whirlwind Arrival

The actress landed in Malaysia at 3am on the same day. With barely any rest, she jumped straight into rehearsals and sat down with local media for interviews.

Shen Yue admitted that the packed schedule didn’t leave her much room to explore the city — or its famous food scene.

Still, she revealed her wish list: “I heard that bak kut teh is best eaten dry. I tried the soup version the last time I came, so I hope to try the dry one this time.”

Fans’ Surprise Brings Shen Yue to Tears

The highlight of the evening came when fans played a special tribute video dedicated to her.

Shen Yue couldn’t hold back her tears as the montage rolled, later confessing:

There are always such videos at fan meetings. Even though I know what fans would say, I still cry every time. I don’t know how else to express my feelings but to say thank you.”

And just when everyone thought the tears had dried, the actress broke down again during her closing remarks, clearly reluctant to say goodbye to her Malaysian supporters.

More to Come for Malaysian Fans

Although Shen Yue had initially planned to perform more songs, she had to cut her set short because of time constraints.

She assured fans that this wasn’t the end, promising to prepare more surprises when she returns for another fan meeting in Malaysia.

The actress also hinted at wanting to come back for a proper holiday: “I’d love to return when I have a break from my schedule. Malaysia feels so welcoming.”

Between laughter, tears, and heartfelt thanks, Shen Yue’s first Malaysian fan meeting was nothing short of unforgettable. Fans went home with cherished memories, and the actress herself left with an even stronger bond to her overseas audience. With promises of future visits and more surprises in store, it’s safe to say Malaysian fans won’t have to wait too long before seeing their beloved Shen Yue again.
