| NMB48’s 32nd Single Brings Debut Senbatsu Spots for 4 Members |
NMB48 are back with big news – the Osaka-based idol group have officially announced their 32nd single, set to drop on 12 November 2025.
The reveal came during a surprise livestream on their official YouTube channel, where not only the new single was confirmed but also the highly anticipated senbatsu line-up of 16 members.
This release is already stirring excitement as it marks a major turning point for the group.
For the first time since the disbandment of the team system, senbatsu members have been picked without that structure in place, creating a line-up that feels fresh and future-facing.
Interestingly, no 5th gen members made the cut – another sign that the baton has well and truly been passed to younger generations.
The line-up sees representation from across multiple generations:

Making their senbatsu debut this time are Ike Honoka, Ikeda Tenna, Ishiyama Chihiro, and Tatsumoto Yayoi – names that fans will no doubt keep a close eye on.
The spotlight for this single falls once again on Shiotsuki Keito, who takes centre position.

It’s her second time fronting a title track, following her run as centre in Choose Strike (31st single).
With Keito’s growing presence, NMB48 seem to be signalling clear confidence in her star power.
As always, the single comes with plenty of ways for fans to join in.
Limited “theatre edition” copies with handshake event tickets go on sale from 2 October via Universal Music Store, with in-person events planned for early 2026 in both Yokohama and Osaka.
On top of that, each version of the single (Type-A, B, C) will have exclusive bonuses depending on where you purchase – from oversized “Mega Jackets” on Amazon to rare member photos at other retailers.
Collectors are going to have their hands full this time.
The announcement also links nicely with NMB48’s 15th Anniversary activities.
The group will be holding special anniversary concerts in Osaka this November, along with graduation concerts for leaders Kojima Karin and Kawakami Chihiro, making this single release part of a season packed with milestones and emotional moments.
With the group also serving as official supporters for the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, there’s a clear sense that NMB48 are aiming global while still keeping their roots firmly in Namba.
This 32nd single doesn’t just mark another release – it’s shaping up to be a statement of where the group is heading next: bold, young, and forward-looking.
