JKT48’s Gabriela Abigail (Ella) Suspended Until October Over Circulating Photos |
JKT48 has announced the suspension of Gabriela Abigail—better known to fans as Ella—following the circulation of certain photos on social media.
In an official statement released by the JKT48 Operation Team, management confirmed that Ella had already spoken directly with them to clarify the situation.
After listening to her explanation, the decision was made to temporarily suspend all her activities as a member until 31 October 2025.
“During this period, we are giving her the opportunity to reflect on her actions. We will provide further updates regarding her future activities after the suspension ends. We kindly ask for your continued support for JKT48,” the statement read.

Ella emphasised that she was ready to accept any consequences handed down and hoped to use this period to grow and mature, both personally and as an idol.

“I want to prove that I can learn from my mistakes and come back stronger. I also want to return all the support, love, and trust you’ve given me with hard work and a more mature attitude,” she added.
Concluding her message, Ella expressed gratitude for the prayers and encouragement she’s received, saying she hopes to return as “a better Ella” who can once again make fans proud.
For now, JKT48 has made it clear that Ella will not be taking part in group activities until the end of October. Fans will be watching closely to see whether she makes a full return after the suspension or if this marks a turning point in her journey with the group.
