Japanese Idol Group iLiFE! Confirms First Virtual Live at “Life Like a Live! 10” |
Japanese idol group iLiFE! aren’t slowing down any time soon. Fresh from pulling off their first ever Nippon Budokan show in August 2025 and already booked for a massive Yokohama K-Arena live next year, the eight-member unit have now revealed their next big leap: they’re becoming VTubers.
The move is backed by Virtual Avex, the virtual entertainment arm of Avex, who confirmed that iLiFE! will officially launch their virtual avatars and activities from October.
It means fans will now be able to cheer them on both on stage and inside the digital space.

Their very first live performance as avatars has already been lined up. iLiFE! will make their virtual stage debut at “Life Like a Live! 10” (aka えるすりー10), one of the biggest virtual idol festivals worldwide. The three-day online event runs 10–12 October 2025 and will feature a line-up of 57 virtual idols and VTubers.
The theme this year is a high-energy Halloween, and the iLiFE! girls are confirmed as special guests. Expect customised items, festive visuals, and the group’s signature energy translated into 3D form.
The VTuber version of iLiFE! will also appear at FUURYUUFES 5.0, set for 22 November 2025 at Pia Arena MM.

Known for blending traditional Japanese culture with cutting-edge tech, the event has previously hosted names like HIMEHINA and P丸様。, drawing major attention from both domestic and international fans.
With iLiFE! now joining the bill in both human and virtual form, the festival is promising to be a showcase of just how far “real meets digital” can go.
The announcement also teased that a brand-new virtual music video is already under production, giving fans a different way to experience the group’s songs and worldbuilding.
Details are under wraps for now, but Virtual Avex confirmed a release is “coming soon.”

For those new to the scene, iLiFE! is part of the HEROINES collective. The name comes from the phrase “Me (i) + You (!) = Our Idol Life (LiFE),” underlining their fan-driven concept.
The current line-up: Riri Kokona, Aisu (Ice), Fukumaru Usa, Noa Wakaba, Sonata Karen, Kohane Mini, Koguma Mamu, and Sumire Miki.
They rose to prominence through TikTok virality and the hit track “Idol Life Starter Pack”, which popularised idol chants beyond their usual fanbase.
Going virtual is just the latest step in what’s becoming a very busy era for the group. With real-world arena shows, new digital avatars, festival appearances, and music videos on the way, iLiFE! are showing how idols in 2025 can live in both worlds at once.
Fans can keep up with updates on their YouTube channel and X account.
