| Idol Group Aoseka (Gunjou no Sekai) Closing Current System After One Year |
J-pop idol group Gunjou no Sekai (群青の世界), better known as Aoseka (青セカ), has announced that its current line-up will officially end activities on 11 October 2025.
The news means they will no longer appear at the Yokohama da yo! Roppongi Idol Festival on 12 October, leaving their last stage as a one-night send-off at Tokyo Kinema Club.
Gunjou no Sekai first stepped on stage on 23 December 2018, under the concept “An unforgettable blue spring.” They quickly carved out a name in the crowded idol scene with their cool, emotional style.
By their 5th Anniversary live on 23 December 2023, however, the original line-up had graduated in full, sending the group into hiatus.
In August 2024, the project restarted with five fresh members, debuting a month later at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM. The system was introduced with the promise that “only these five could create this Gunjou no Sekai.”

On 12 September 2025, management revealed that after a year of activity, each member had begun to picture different paths for their future.
After discussions, the group collectively decided to respect those wishes and bring this system to a close.
The statement expressed gratitude to fans for their support, apologised for the sudden notice, and promised to deliver a heartfelt final performance:
“The activities of this Gunjou no Sekai started with the strong belief that no one should be missing, and that only these five could make it real. As time passed, each member’s vision for the future grew different. Marking one year since formation, we’ve had many talks and reached the decision to end this system. We will do our best to put our feelings of thanks into the last stage.”

While there’s no word yet on whether Gunjou no Sekai will attempt another restart with new faces, the brand itself has shown resilience before.
Fans are now rallying behind the five current members, eager to send them off with cheers at their Tokyo Kinema Club finale.
For now, October 11 is set as the final curtain call for this version of Aoseka – a short-lived but heartfelt chapter in the group’s blue-coloured history.
