Zhao Lusi Goes Makeup-Free Live Amid Agency Drama |
Zhao Lusi might be caught in a serious contract mess, but that didn’t stop her from jumping on livestream and casually eating noodles with fans—makeup-free, relaxed, and very real.
On the afternoon of 3rd August, the popular Chinese actress surprised everyone by going live without warning, chatting openly with fans while slurping noodles. The vibe? Chill and unbothered—even though she's currently in a heated standoff with her agency, Galaxy Cool Entertainment. The livestream exploded online, racking up over 30 million viewers and a jaw-dropping 100 million likes.
“This isn’t some sympathy stunt,” Zhao Lusi said with a smile. “I just want everyone to see I’m okay. Don’t let the noise fool you.”

This came right after she posted a bold, detailed Weibo statement calling out her agency for breaching promises about her health break. According to ZhaoLusi, Galaxy Cool Entertainment (Yinhekuyu Media) not only ignored her health concerns but also hit her with a 2.05 million RMB (around USD 280,000) penalty and pulled money from her studio account without permission. She added that they’ve refused to return her studio’s management rights despite repeated requests.
“No need to wait for a ban,” she wrote. “I quit!”
But what really had fans cheering was how calm and down-to-earth she was on livestream. When asked whether this meant she was done with acting, she shrugged it off:
“I’ve made enough to live on. If nothing works out, I’ll just open a noodle shop. Life’s still long.”

That line went viral instantly, with fans flooding social media praising her grounded attitude and fearless energy.
In response, Galaxy Cool Entertainment fired back with a formal statement at noon the same day. They said they were “shocked and regretful” about Zhao Lusi’s public posts, insisting that everything they’ve done was checked by legal experts and within the law.
They added they’re open to “rational communication” but warned Rosy not to post content that might “mislead the public.”

Lusi didn’t let that slide either. In more livestreams and social posts, she accused the company of being emotionally manipulative and said they even tried to use a family illness against her.
“You might think I’m easy to push around,” she said. “But it wasn’t easy for me to get here.”
Meanwhile, days after Rosy spoke up, Galaxy Cool unfollowed her on social media
Zhao Lusi still has four years left on her contract with Galaxy Cool. Unless they can come to a peaceful resolution, it looks like this could turn into a long and very public legal battle. But one thing’s clear—Rosy isn’t backing down
