Leading man Zhou Yiran, already dubbed a “campus drama prince” by fans, breaks out of his usual boy-next-door roles to play Tang Yixun, a small-town teen shouldering more than his fair share of burdens.
Opposite him, Wang Yinglu (who made waves as Feng Baobao in Psychic Princess) takes on Ye Haitang, a girl scarred yet unbroken, chasing dreams despite a tough upbringing.
Together, their chemistry leans on the theme of mutual salvation – the idea that even in the darkest moments, two people can be each other’s light.
