| Tsuji Nozomi Welcomes Fifth Child, A Daughter, Filling Her Family with Happiness and Excitement! |
Japanese actress, former Morning Musume member, and TV personality Tsuji Nozomi (38) has witnessed the decline in her country's birth rate and has now announced the birth of her fifth child, a baby girl, on August 8, 2025.
The news comes with a wave of joy as her eldest daughter, 17-year-old influencer Noa, shared her excitement on social media, expressing that her heart was “filled with so much happiness” at the arrival of her first younger sister.
Tsuji Nozomi took to her official Instagram account to share the heartwarming news with her followers, saying, “I safely gave birth to my fifth child on August 8, 2025. Both mother and child are healthy. She is my little, tiny girl after 18 years! It was such a happy and peaceful delivery, surrounded by my whole family.”
Tsuji Nozomi's husband, actor Sugiura Taiyo (44), also posted a message on his social media.
He praised his wife’s strength, writing, “Hearing the sound of our daughter’s first cry, seeing my wife’s happy smile, and witnessing our children’s tears of joy—these moments will be treasures we cherish forever. Thank you, Non! You did great, and I’m so grateful.”
With the birth of their fifth child, the family is now officially a seven-member household.
Tsuji Nozomi shared a family photo and reflected on this new chapter, saying, “I’m now a mother of five! Our family will be even more lively and filled with love, and we hope everyone will continue to support us warmly.”
This year, Tsuji Nozomi had previously shared her journey to becoming pregnant with her fifth child, revealing that after years of trying, including undergoing fertility treatments, she had successfully conceived after seven years.

Tsuji Nozomi and Sugiura Taiyo have been married since June 2007, and over the years, they’ve welcomed four other children: their first daughter Noa (17), followed by their son (15), second son (12), and third son (6).
Noa, who is now making her own mark in the entertainment world, recently joined the talent agency LUV and appeared on the reality show Kyou, Suki ni Narimashita (Today, I Fell in Love).
The news of the birth has brought smiles to many, as Tsuji's fans, along with the rest of Japan, celebrate the addition of this little girl to the family, offering their warm congratulations to the proud parents.
