TVB actress Linna Huynh is glowing—literally and emotionally—as she celebrates her betrothal ceremony with a gold-studded display and a heart full of joy.
The 34-year-old star recently shared moments from the special event on Instagram (derplinna), offering fans a peek into the lavish and love-filled tradition that marks the lead-up to her wedding.
Taking place last weekend, the ceremony was nothing short of stunning. Linna Huynh was surrounded by luxurious gifts from her fiancé, including dazzling boxes brimming with traditional gold jewellery—bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and even ornate hairpins, all carefully selected to symbolise wealth, good fortune, and harmony.

But the bling wasn’t the only showstopper. The offering table looked like something out of a gourmet dream—lined with fine wines, delicate Chinese pastries, and premium seafood delights like abalone, fish maw, and shark’s fin. Talk about a feast fit for a queen!
“Taking part in my own betrothal ceremony certainly feels very special,” Linna Huynh wrote in her caption. “Recognising the values of respect to our families is important to us, so with this next big step coming up soon, I say YES to honouring traditions! YES to allll the luck! And YESSS to double happiness!”

This comes just a couple of months after her engagement went public. On 14 May, Linna posted a heartwarming video of her fiancé’s mountaintop proposal—complete with sweeping views, romantic music, and that all-important “yes”.
Since then, it’s been full-on wedding mode for the couple. In a chat with Oriental Daily, Linna Huynh shared that they’ve already done their pre-wedding photoshoot—choosing sentimental spots that hold special meaning in their love story.

“Returning to those places felt really special. It’s like reliving the time when he was pursuing me,” she said sweetly. “The most memorable location would be the restaurant where we had our first date. We met as strangers back then. Now, we’re returning as an engaged couple.”
As for the big day itself, Linna revealed they’re planning a cosy overseas ceremony with just close friends and family on the guest list.
When quizzed about baby plans, she gave a cheeky but heartfelt reply: both of them adore kids, but they’re leaving that part up to fate. “Maybe something special might be in store for us,” she teased.

For those new to her journey—Linna Huynh was born and raised in Vancouver, with Vietnamese and Hong Kong roots. She started off modelling while still in school, later gaining attention through bridal and fashion shoots.
Her big break came after joining the 2012 Miss Chinese Vancouver pageant, where she scooped up two titles, eventually going on to represent in the Miss Hong Kong 2014 pageant
