The wait’s nearly over – iQIYI’s upcoming period business drama Dream of Golden Years (你好1983) starring Zhou Ye and Zhai Xiaowen has officially secured its distribution license, clocking in at 36 episodes.

The series wrapped filming just last month and is now gearing up for release.
It’s refreshing news for Zhou Ye fans, as her just-finished drama Legend of the Female General has already wrapped airing with nearly 1 billion views across all platforms
A Story Rooted in the 80s
Set in 1983, the drama follows Xia Xiaolan (played by Zhou Ye), a modern woman dropped into a turbulent era of transformation.

Labelled as a “corporate slave,” she refuses to let rumours and obstacles define her.
Instead, she throws herself into the stormy world of business, starting from scratch and proving that resilience and intelligence can carve a path forward even in the toughest conditions.
