Summer romance might just be in full swing—literally. According to Josei Seven, WEST.’s Nakama Junta (37) has been spending some seriously cosy time with professional dancer and former “Jamboree Mickey!” star Hayashi Yui (31). The pair were recently spotted enjoying a golf date together in mid-June 2025, giving netizens and fans plenty to buzz about.
On what was described as a blazing hot day in the Kanto area, the two were seen at a local golf practice range. Yui, sporting a sporty look and swinging with serious form, impressed with every crisp shot, while Nakama watched on with a big grin and an even bigger round of applause. When it was his turn, she gently stepped in to guide his stance—cue fans melting over that romcom-level energy.

If Hayashi Yui’s name rings a bell, it’s probably because she’s one of the most recognisable faces from Tokyo Disneyland’s iconic “Jamboree Mickey! Let’s Dance!” performance. Fans dubbed her “Jamboree Oneesan” (or “Yui Oneesan”), and her bubbly energy and sharp moves made her a viral sensation across TikTok and Instagram. She even bagged the Yahoo! Japan Search Award in the “Next Break” category in 2023.
Though she wrapped up her stint at Disneyland earlier this year, Yui Hayashi’s star hasn’t dimmed. From event appearances to photobooks, she’s still very much riding her wave—and now, seemingly, doing it hand in hand with one of Japan’s most beloved idols.
Nakama Junta: Idol, TV Darling, Disney Devotee
Nakama Junta has always stood out, both as a member of WEST. and beyond. Born to a Japanese mother and Taiwanese father, he spent part of his childhood in Taiwan and has embraced that heritage—becoming the Taipei City Tourism Ambassador in 2024. He debuted in 2014 under the former Johnny’s banner and has earned a rep for his gentlemanly aura and brainy charm.
While he's stayed active with the group—dropping their 11th full album A.H.O. - Audio Hang Out in March and gearing up for WESSION FESTIVAL 2025 in October—Junta also became a household name through his regular appearances on Hirunandesu!, where his deep love for Disney Parks even earned him the nickname “Dreamland Junta.” At one point, he even admitted he went to the parks 30 times a year. Whispers of a Serious Relationship
But the golf date might not be a one-off. Sources close to the couple told Josei Seven that the two have been quietly seeing each other since at least December 2024. They were even rumoured to have spent a quiet holiday trip to Taiwan together—Nakama Junta’s second home. If you’re heading to Taiwan for Christmas with someone, fans reckon it’s definitely more than a casual fling.
The publication also reported that Hayashi Yui was spotted entering Nakama Junta’s apartment using what appeared to be a spare key, no doorbell needed. While neither party has confirmed anything, this has fuelled talk that they might already be in a semi-cohabiting phase.
Interestingly, they’ve avoided public outings together and never posted any suspicious couple-style content online. According to an acquaintance, Nakama Junta is extremely cautious when it comes to his fans, choosing to protect their feelings by keeping his private life exactly that—private.

While some fans were caught off guard, the overall reaction online has been surprisingly supportive. “They’re grown adults, and both hardworking. Let them live!” one tweet read. Others joked, “Golf dates are the new soft-launch, huh?”
Their time-staggered exit from Nakama Junta’s flat before the golf date also seemed to reflect how much thought they put into not creating a stir—until Josei Seven turned the cameras on them, that is.
