Maggie Q just did the ultimate soft launch of her marriage – casually dropping the news on Live! with Kelly & Mark like it was no big deal. Yep, the 46-year-old action queen is officially married, and fans are loving her no-fuss approach to such a major life milestone.
The actress, best known for her fierce roles in Naked Weapon and Nikita, revealed during the show that she’s now hitched to her longtime partner, Curtis Macnguyen – a successful investment fund manager. The couple have always kept things ultra low-key, but eagle-eyed fans might remember their rare red carpet appearance together at the Berggruen Prize Gala back in 2022.
In typical Maggie Q style, there was no big flashy wedding reveal or tabloid headlines. Just a simple confirmation that yes, she’s a married woman now – and happy about it.

A Quiet Romance That Spoke Volumes
Speaking about her relationship, Maggie shared that love kind of snuck up on her. “My friends figured it out before I did,” she laughed. “I had no expectations. He was just one of the best people I’d ever met – and that was enough.”
She also gave a glimpse into married life in an interview with People, where she admitted that while she’d rather not sleep in separate rooms, Curtis’s snoring sometimes leaves her no choice. “But I always crawl back into bed in the morning to cuddle him and let him know I love him,” she added sweetly.
From Red Carpets to Real Life
Maggie Q, born to a Vietnamese mother and a father of French, Canadian, Irish and Polish descent, started her showbiz journey shooting commercials in Taipei before hitting the Hong Kong film scene – and later becoming a bona fide Hollywood action star.
Before settling down with Curtis, she was previously engaged to actor Dylan McDermott, with whom she co-starred in Stalker. Their engagement quietly ended in early 2019. Fans also fondly remember her past relationship with actor Daniel Wu, which was a hot topic in entertainment circles back in the day.
Now though, Maggie seems totally content and glowing in this new chapter. While she’s still cracking cases as the lead in her current American police procedural Ballard, it’s clear her real-life love story is the calm centre of it all.
