| KLP48 Rings in First Birthday with Star-Studded “〜BLOOM〜” Show, Joined by JKT48 & COËX |
KLP48 fans, you lot better mark your calendars — Malaysia’s own budding idol squad, KLP48, is about to blow the roof off Zepp Kuala Lumpur with their very first anniversary bash, cheekily named “〜BLOOM〜”.
Scheduled for Saturday, 16 August at 5.30pm, this milestone gig promises to be an absolute feast of high-energy bops, synchronised dance moves, and a proper showcase of Southeast Asian idol power.

Formed in 2024 as part of Japan’s famous AKB48 franchise, KLP48 carries the torch for the whole “idols you can meet” dream. The group’s line-up is a vibrant melting pot: 7 Malaysians, 4 Japanese, plus one Indonesian and a Hong Kong representative, all coming together under the guidance of 48 Entertainment Sdn Bhd.
In the lead-up to the big day, the girls have been grinding away behind the scenes with intensive vocal drills, choreography bootcamps, and a whole lot of production hustle to make sure fans get a show worth screaming for.

And there’s more: three cracking guest acts are jumping in to fire things up even more. Fans can catch Malaysia’s rising pop princesses COËX, whose girl-power bangers have been smashing local charts; Ismail Izzani, the country’s R&B sweetheart with a silky-smooth voice and a loyal following since his teenage breakout; plus a special appearance by JKT48, the OG overseas sister group of the 48 empire from Indonesia.
