Amber Chan (陳若思), who’s holding her own in Prism Breaker, has also worked with Charmaine and Monica Chan (陳法蓉) over the last couple of years. The internet’s been calling her the “Senior Actress Collector” for managing to act alongside so many big-name seniors. Asked about the experience, Amber couldn’t help but gush:
“I’ve gained so much from working with these seniors. Every time I finish a shoot with them, I feel I’ve improved more than before. I was really lucky in 2024, even though I didn’t film that many projects, I had brilliant co-stars who taught me loads.”
Pressed to compare these industry legends, Amber said with a grin, “Charmaine is sentimental and kind, Monica is charming and calm, and Sister Jessica is very logical.”

Going deeper into what it was like filming with Jessica, Amber revealed she felt completely at ease on set thanks to Jessica’s sense of humour and quirky personality.
“She’s so funny, there’s no generation gap at all. She’s humorous, quirky, and I really like her. She always brings snacks for the front crew and behind-the-scenes team, and we’re similar that way — we both don’t eat proper meals, just snacks!”
Amber also said Jessica’s character in the drama feels like her own character’s big sister, always there to guide and teach her. Off-camera, Jessica took time to share advice and even let Amber fangirl a bit:
“After filming, I finally got brave enough to ask her for a photo, then ended up chatting with her for half an hour. She’s really a lovely and approachable senior.”
