Hong Kong actress Isabella Leong, once linked to billionaire heir Richard Li, seems to be living her best life these days — and the proof is in the smiles. On 30 June, Sinchew reports, paparazzi clocked Leong strolling hand-in-hand with actor Marc Ma at the airport, looking every bit the picture of low-key couple bliss.
Decked out in a sporty green dress, a crisp white jacket and those posh Loro Piana trainers, Isabella Leong was hard to miss. Even sweeter, her two eldest sons were there too, apparently perfectly happy and supportive of their mum’s new relationship.
Isabella Leong, who just turned 37 at the end of June, didn’t hold back on celebrating either. She popped up on socials with birthday snaps, sharing a reflective caption: “The one with a sincere heart embracing life will find the years gently soothe the marks near their eyes.”

That came with a jaw-dropping bouquet of 99 roses from what she called a “special person” — fans were quick to join the dots, praising how radiant she looked and noting how her grin seems absolutely unshakeable these days.
For anyone who’s followed Leong’s bumpy ride over the years, it’s a refreshing turn. She first dated Richard Li when she was just 19, even stepping away from her entertainment contracts to focus on their relationship and build a family. They had their first child together, then twin boys in 2010 — but parted ways a year later in 2011.
After the split, Leong packed up for Canada to raise her three sons as a single mum, away from the relentless Hong Kong spotlight. She’s since described her co-parenting with Richard Li as respectful and balanced, purely focused on the boys.

As for Richard Li, the tycoon and son of Hong Kong’s richest man, he’s still making headlines of his own. Founder of STAR TV back in the ’90s and now boss of Pacific Century Group and FWD Group, Li’s personal fortune sits at a cool US$4.9 billion, putting him 19th on Hong Kong’s rich list. His father, Li Ka Shing, is still the city’s richest, with a staggering US$39.4 billion to his name.

While Isabella Leong once thought she’d end up married to Li, she’s been candid about how forcing things never sat right with her. In recent interviews, she opened up about how her kids have grown into caring, kind-hearted people, and how that gives her peace of mind.
It’s no wonder she seems to be flourishing. Born to a Portuguese-Chinese family, Leong kicked off her modelling career at just 12 and made an international splash thanks to The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor in 2008 — the same year she crossed paths with Richard Li.
As for her new flame, Marc Ma, 46, he’s been around the block himself — gaining fame with his role as You Tanzhi in the 2003 adaptation of Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, then stepping behind the camera last year for his directorial debut Wolf Hiding.
