Angelababy Reportedly Moves Out of Shanghai Mansion Purchased With Huang Xiaoming After Divorce |
Chinese showbiz is buzzing with fresh drama after word got out that actor Huang Xiaoming may have asked his ex-wife, Angelababy, to pack up and leave their jaw-dropping 130 million yuan (around $18 million) marital mansion.
The Shanghai property, famous for being their lavish wedding nest back in 2015, has suddenly become the hottest gossip topic after eagle-eyed fans clocked a new background in Angelababy’s recent Weibo snaps on 26 June.
Instead of her usual swanky interior near the Oriental Pearl Tower, netizens reckoned Angelababy was snapping away in a whole new pad.

Cue the rumour mill: insiders suggested Huang Xiaoming wanted her and their son out of the house so he could move in with his new girlfriend, Ye Ke, and their newborn daughter. One source even claimed Huang Xiaoming footed the bill for Angelababy’s move — not exactly a subtle hint.
Ever since their split in 2022, Angelababy, 35 (real name Yang Ying), had reportedly kept living in the mansion with their son. The mansion itself is practically a celebrity in its own right, having been shown off during their fairytale wedding days. Huang Xiaoming, 47, known for hits like The Return of the Condor Heroes and Summer’s Desire, apparently started dating Ye soon after the divorce.

As you’d expect, social media hasn’t held back. Plenty of folks slammed Huang Xiaoming for shoving his ex and child aside to play happy families with his new partner. Others, meanwhile, argued Angelababy is hardly short of cash and owns multiple properties — so why cling to the place, really?
Neither party has chimed in publicly about the rumour so far, keeping the speculation alive and well.
Angelababy herself has carved out a mega-successful path since debuting in 2007, balancing a high-flying modelling, acting, and entrepreneurial career. Huang, meanwhile, still rides a wave of popularity thanks to his long-standing TV and film work.
Despite their messy split, the pair have agreed to co-parent their son — though their frosty reunion at Shanghai Disneyland in May 2024, where they barely spoke, shows the situation might not be all that warm and fuzzy behind the scenes.
For now, it seems Angelababy’s glamorous life continues elsewhere, while the Shanghai mansion gets ready for its next chapter. Stay tuned — this story probably isn’t done yet.
