Court Orders Public Apologies, Compensation for Defamation and Insult!
Chinese actress Dilraba Dilmurat just served up a masterclass in protecting your name – and she’s got the court rulings to prove it.
According to official records on QiChaCha and China’s People’s Court Announcement Network, the star of You Are My Glory and The Long Ballad recently wrapped up not one, but two legal victories against online defamation. Both involved individuals spreading damaging rumours about her across social media.

On 22 July 2025, the Beijing Internet Court confirmed that Dilraba had applied for compulsory enforcement after a user known as “Chen**” failed to apologise publicly, as ordered. This all stemmed from a series of blog posts and reposted content under a Weibo account with the name “落叶漫街红” (UID: 22709****1), which directly insulted and defamed her using crude and false descriptions.
The court found these remarks crossed the line of free speech and instead constituted direct attacks on Dilraba’s character. Mr Chen was ordered to pay 8,159 CNY (approx. $1,160 USD) and issue a public apology via the official court website. After he failed to comply, the court had no choice but to enforce the ruling. But that’s not the only win on Dilraba’s scoreboard.
Just days earlier, on 17 July 2025, she also emerged victorious in another lawsuit – this time against a user behind the Weibo handle “Osborn萧逸女友.” Between February and October 2023, that account reportedly posted several defamatory and humiliating messages about Dilraba. The court confirmed the account holder, Mr Wang Xiaoxiao, as the real person responsible and found the statements had no factual basis and were clearly meant to insult and damage her reputation.
In this case, the court awarded Dilraba 20,000 CNY (approx. $2,870 USD) in damages and required a full public apology in People’s Court Daily. When that didn’t happen either, compulsory enforcement kicked in yet again. Clearly, Dilraba’s legal team isn’t playing around.
