BOY MEETS HARU to Disband After 6 Years — Chiharu Reno Bids Farewell to Idol Life |
Other Members to Re-Debut Under New Group from TRACE SILVER.
Popular J-pop idol group BOY MEETS HARU (also known as BMHR) has officially announced that they'll be disbanding on 17 August 2025, following one last live show at Shibuya CYCLONE. The bittersweet news marks the end of a six-year journey that started in Tokyo’s underground live scene and blossomed into a cult favourite among idol fans.
As part of the announcement, it was also confirmed that member Chiharu Reno (千春れの) will be leaving the agency TRACE SILVER after the group's final performance.
The remaining three members — Haruzakura Yume, Haruura Ayana, and Nakaharu Aji — will stay with the company and are already gearing up to debut in a brand-new group in the near future.
🌸 A Spring That Ran Its Course
Formed in May 2019, BOY MEETS HARU made their official stage debut at Shirokane Takanawa SELENE b2 on 22 June 2019. Originally launched with a unique spring-themed concept (every member had a name tied to spring), the group gained attention for blending J-pop and rock with fresh visuals and heartfelt lyrics.
Despite lineup changes along the way, they developed a close-knit fanbase and continued to evolve. Their story has always been one of growth — and now, it seems, a graceful farewell.
