Company Vows Better Security |
They’ve done it again — poor ZI YU couldn’t even catch a breath at the airport today.
ZIYU, known to many as Wu Suowei from Chinese BL series Revenged Love, showed up at the airport earlier today only to be completely mobbed by a sea of unruly fans. It got so bad he could barely move, with fans blocking his path and refusing to let him through. The chaos even left a few fans injured in the rush, according to local reports.
Afterwards, ZIYU took to Weibo with a heartfelt message urging fans to chase stars rationally and put everyone’s safety first. That boy is clearly worried, and you can’t blame him — he was basically left to fend for himself with no personal bodyguards in sight, just a handful of airport security trying to hold back the tide.

His management, Ruihe Entertainment — which only recently signed ZI YU — issued a public apology and explained what went wrong. They admitted the airport pick-up went south and vowed to sort out proper personal bodyguards for him from here on out, promising to keep their artist safe next time.
On top of that, Ruihe confirmed they were pulling the plug on ZIYU’s scheduled Xiamen event for today (28 June). They cited a lack of proper safety measures, order, and emergency response from the organiser as the reason. Can’t say you’d blame them after today’s mess.

In a statement, the company pleaded with fans yet again to calm down and behave sensibly. Apparently, ZIYU’s been facing this kind of tailing, chasing, and even hotel-blocking behaviour in city after city — no wonder he looked a bit shaken.

If there’s one takeaway here, it’s that fan love is great — until it turns dangerous. Let’s hope Ruihe gets that bodyguard team sorted sharpish, and fans remember that their idol is a human being who deserves to walk safely through an airport like anyone else.
