Renee Lee ain’t here for the drama. The former Cream singer, who’s recently stepped back into the spotlight after her divorce, has straight-up denied rumours suggesting she betrayed her ex-husband, David Lo.

“I’ve never betrayed him,” she said firmly when asked about the rumours. “Honestly, I haven’t had dinner with my ex-husband for ages. We bump into each other when I’m picking up or dropping off the kids, that’s about it. But for the sake of the children, we try to keep things chill, not awkward.”

Despite the divorce, Renee Lee insisted their relationship is still alright — at least when it comes to co-parenting.
“We’re both parents. Our identities have changed, and we want the kids to have good memories, not weird tension. When there’s time, we’ll have a meal together for their birthdays or during the holidays,” she added, revealing that the kids currently live with David.
On the work front, Renee’s back on the grind. She’s self-financing her music now, putting her own cash behind her latest track — a bold move in a tough industry.

“I’ve got to work, simple as that. Making songs off your own dime is no joke, but if you don’t put out new stuff, people won’t even know you’re back. You can’t just sit there waiting for someone to fund you — I’ve got to push forward,” she said.
