Party chuuuN! to Disband This Month After Unstable Run

Party chuuuN! to Disband on June 19 After Less Than Two Years Together
J-Pop Group Party chuuuN! Announces Disbandment, Final Live Set for June 19 (X/Official)

Producer Shimizu Rika and member Fuyuu Yukina to stay on for new project

After less than two years on the scene, J-Pop girl group Party chuuuN! have officially announced their disbandment, set for June 19, 2025. The group, known for its vibrant energy and colour-coded members, never quite managed to settle after a string of exits, and now they’re calling it a day.

The announcement came via their official account on June 2, with a heartfelt message apologising for the sudden news and promising to go all-in for their remaining performances—including their final live at ‘MARQUEE Fes Vol.160’ at Spotify O-WEST in Shibuya.

💔 Too Many Goodbyes Too Soon

Formed in September 2023 under the guidance of former NMB48 and mignon member Shimizu Rika, Party chuuuN! launched with a flash of promise. But behind the sparkles and stage lights, the group’s lineup changed more times than we could count.

In just 20 months, they saw 11 members leave, most of them within their first few months. From founding member Kinoshita Erin being dismissed in February, to recent departures like Arisu Nana and Yamamoto Anna, the group never really found its long-term rhythm.

By early 2025, only three remained:

  • Shimizu Rika (Producer and temp member since Feb 2024)

  • Fuyuu Yukina (Joined Aug 2024)

  • Tsurumiya Arisa (Joined Mar 2025)

Sadly, with the exit of Arisa at the time of disbandment, the group’s journey will end just short of its two-year mark.

🎶 What’s Next?

Party chuuuN! Will Disband This June

While Party chuuuN! as a unit is wrapping up, it’s not the end of the road for everyone involved. Both Shimizu Rika and Fuyuu Yukina will remain with the agency and are already confirmed to be part of a new project, set to be revealed in July during MARQUEE Fes mini Vol.260. Meanwhile, Arisa will leave the agency entirely.

As for fans hoping for a proper farewell live—sadly, scheduling issues mean that a solo graduation show wasn’t possible. Instead, the group is planning a final “Disbandment Cheki Event” on June 21, with full details to be announced soon.

They’ve also cancelled their appearance at UP-T FESTIVAL mini Vol.28 (June 28), with refunds available via official LINE contact.

🌀 A Short-Lived But Colourful Ride

Despite the rocky journey, Party chuuuN! did leave their mark with their only official single, “Nemuri Renai Yoru Niha / Promise”, released on April 16, 2025. The dual-track showed potential in both dreamy night-pop and bittersweet pop rock styles—proving there was artistic flair beneath the instability.

Though they’re disbanding with more ex-members than current ones, fans remain appreciative of their effort to carry on through tough times. From stage debut in October 2023 to the final curtain in June 2025, Party chuuuN! gave it their all.

As they say—short but sweet.

Not every idol group makes it past their awkward years, and Party chuuuN! was unfortunately caught in a loop of resets and reshuffles. But for fans who followed them through every “season” and surprise, the goodbye still stings.

All eyes now turn to what Rika and Yukina are cooking up next. New name, new vibe—but same chuuuN! spirit? We’ll see.
