Zang Hai (played masterfully by Xiao Zhan) finally got his revenge. Zhao Bingwen (Tian Xiao Jie), the schemer behind all his suffering, is gone. And after years of carrying the weight of his past, Zang Hai chose peace. He handed in his sword, walked away from the court, and began a new chapter with Xiang Antu (Zhang Jingyi).
It was emotional. It was earned. And honestly? It was beautiful. If the story ends here, we’ll take it. But let’s be real—this wouldn’t be the first time a retired hero gets pulled back into the game. Especially when that pesky Gui Seal is still floating around, and Antu’s Dongxia bloodline could stir up more conflict than calm.
There’s plenty of room for another season if they want it. And let’s be honest: we want it.
