Japanese group Glim Assembler (also known to fans as Glimas) have dropped the news that their current line-up will be wrapping up activities after one last performance on 17 September 2025 — exactly three years since they first hit the stage.

The announcement landed out of nowhere via an official statement, with no explanation offered for the decision to disband this particular line-up.

Glim Assembler apologised to fans for the sudden news and expressed deep thanks to everyone who’s supported them since their debut.

Glim Assembler Announce Sudden End

The group’s farewell show will take place at Spotify O-WEST in Tokyo on 17 September, with all current members graduating from the group after that. Details on the event and ticket info will be shared at a later date, so fans are being told to hang tight for more updates.

In the statement, Glim Assembler said they’ll be giving it their all right up to the last day of activities, and promised to reveal each member’s future plans after graduation in due course.

Glim Assembler originally formed in August 2022 and officially took the stage the following month at P.A.R.M.S Akihabara.

The current five-member line-up includes founding members Kojima Momona, Suzune Kana, Hananoi Kaho, and Yumeno Nano, plus later joiners Kojima Rin and Hazuki Kotomi. Over the years, they’ve seen some changes, with earlier members like Suzuno Miho, Mitsuki Yurina, and Megumi Amu leaving the group under various circumstances.

The group is known for its bright, colour-coded concept and classic J-pop idol energy, building a loyal fanbase through steady gigs and events. With only a couple of months left until the final curtain, Glim Assembler say they’ll keep performing at full throttle to thank their fans properly for three years of support.

No hint yet as to whether the group will continue in a new formation or go on indefinite hiatus — but all eyes are sure to be on that final stage in September.
