Punk Energy Heads to the U.K. Proper as ASP Announce First Overseas Tour |
It’s official – WACK’s noisiest, boldest girl group ASP are levelling up. After six back-to-back appearances at “WACK in the U.K.” since 2023, the 8-member J-pop punk squad has just dropped the bomb: they’re coming back for their very first full overseas tour – and yes, it’s happening in the U.K. this September.
Titled simply “ASP in the U.K Tour”, this marks a major milestone for the group, whose chaotic charm, face-melting performances and screaming crowd chants have slowly but surely carved out a solid fanbase outside Japan. And if the sold-out venues and sweaty pits of past London gigs are anything to go by, this tour’s gonna be messy – in the best way.
While the full tour schedule is still under wraps, ASP’s team promises that full details are “coming soon.” So if you’ve ever wanted to shout “Oi!” back at YUMEKA NOWKANA?, headbang with NAMELESS, or get fully wrecked by the twin tag-teams of MATiLDER TWiNS and WONKER TWiNS, now’s your chance to prep for impact.
Six London Gigs and Counting
ASP’s U.K. journey kicked off in November 2023 with their international debut at The Underworld, Camden – a gritty, underground venue that matched their explosive energy to a T. That show was part of the first-ever “WACK in the U.K.” showcase, and honestly, they never looked back.
Since then, ASP’s been a mainstay, turning up for all six volumes of the event like clockwork, proving themselves not just as a novelty act abroad, but a genuine live force to be reckoned with. Whether it’s the head-thrashing, heavy-electro numbers or the manic stage antics (you haven’t lived till you’ve seen CCCCCC fly across stage in platform boots), they’ve become a fan-fave in the U.K.’s underground J-pop scene.
From Acid Tours to Global Moves
Back in Japan, ASP are smack in the middle of their wild “Acid Suspicious Parental Tour” – a full-on 19-city run that’s already seen several venues sell out. From Kyoto to Yokohama and all the way up to Hokkaido, they’ve been spreading the gospel of unfiltered pop rebellion to packed crowds.
And while they’re thrashing it out on home turf, they’re also dropping music at full speed. Their latest digital single “Get New MIRAI” just hit streaming on May 4, with a fifth major single on the way this August 20. No title yet, but if it’s anything like their past discography, expect distorted synths, screams, and chaos – but make it catchy.
Also worth noting: U.K. alt-rock duo WARGASM have previously worked with ASP on music production, and with a full U.K. tour now in play, could we maybe see a live collab down the line? Just putting it out there.
Meet the Mayhem: Who’s in ASP?
In case you're new or need a refresher, ASP (short for ANAL SEX PENiS originally – but let’s keep it clean-ish) is made up of these fierce eight:
-
YUMEKA NOWKANA?
-
NAMELESS
-
MOG RYAN
-
MATiLDER TWiNS
-
WONKER TWiNS
-
CCCCCC
-
RiONTOWN
-
iKO MUGENNOKANATA
Each member brings their own flavour to the madness, and together they’ve built a discography that bounces between punk, EDM, hardcore, and unfiltered pop weirdness. It's loud. It's messy. It's very WACK.
What’s Next?
The big tour news has been teased via an official statement to fans (lovingly known as ROGUES), confirming only the title and the month – September 2025. Exact cities, venues, and ticket info are still TBA, but if you're in the U.K., it's time to start clearing your calendar.
Until then, you can catch them on tour in Japan, or get a taste of their madness online via their official channels.
