| Bosco Wong's Surprise Question for Myolie Wu Leaves Cast in Shock |
Well, that escalated emotionally fast. TVB reunions are usually all fun and throwbacks, but this time, it was like stepping straight into a plot twist no one scripted.
On a recent episode of Jin Wan Hao Xi Li (今晚好戏哩), a talk show made for all the Hong Kong star gossip your heart desires, things took an unexpected turn when a question left behind by Bosco Wong popped up during a segment... and it was meant for none other than his ex, Myolie Wu.
Thing is—Myolie wasn’t even there yet. But the moment the cast saw whose question it was, everyone lost it.
Nancy Wu burst out laughing like she’d just witnessed a soap opera unfold live, Tavia Yeung instantly blurted out, “Is it Wong?” (as if we all didn’t know where this was going), and poor Ron Ng, ever the dependable host, tried to save the day by answering the question himself before Myolie could walk into a potential storm of awkward nostalgia.

Now, for those who might need a quick refresher—this wasn’t just any ex situation.
Myolie and Bosco were basically TVB’s golden couple.
From their electric chemistry in Wars of In-Laws back in 2005 to a rumoured eight-year-long off-screen romance, they were the couple everyone rooted for.
Although they publicly claimed they were just “good friends” (sure, Jan), everything changed in 2011 when Myolie won Best Actress at the TVB Anniversary Awards and gave a teary, very telling shout-out to Bosco.
A year later, the fairytale ended with a surprise breakup announcement. Rumour had it Bosco tried to win her back, but it was a no-go.
In 2015, Myolie tied the knot with businessman Philip Lee, and she’s now a proud mum of three. Bosco, meanwhile, has stayed single—cue the collective “aww” from longtime fans.
And it doesn't stop there. In a previous episode, Nancy Wu was casually chatting on the phone about returning for another taping—on the same day Linda Chung would be appearing.
Bosco Wong who was present then, cheekily asked, “Why am I not invited?”
Nancy, not missing a beat, quipped, “Because Myolie will be there!” Bosco just laughed, “No wonder I’m not invited!”
Despite the cheeky jabs and unspoken history, Bosco has shared in interviews that he and Myolie are still on friendly terms.
No drama, just a lot of shared history... and apparently, leftover questions on talk shows.
