‘The Ex Morning’ BL Series Brings Back Singto Prachaya and Krist Perawat

Singto & Krist Reunite in ‘The Ex Morning’
BL Royalty Returns: Singto & Krist Reunite in ‘The Ex Morning’ (GMMTV)

The wait is finally over! Fans of Thai BL legends Singto Prachaya and Krist Perawat can breathe again, because the official trailer for their long-awaited reunion series, The Ex Morning, just dropped on Monday (5 May) via GMM25’s YouTube channel—and yep, the hype is real.

This series marks a major comeback for the iconic duo who first won hearts back in the SOTUS days.

And this time, they're back not just with chemistry, but with an emotionally loaded storyline that's already got everyone talking.

The Ex Morning is an original GMMTV creation—written by the cast, director, producer and screenwriters themselves.

Talk about personal touch, right?

The story was even novelised before being adapted into the series, directed by the one and only Lit Samajarn, with Aof Noppharnach onboard as producer.

With that dream team, expectations are sky-high.

So, what’s it about?

Love, News Scandals, and Second Chances: ‘The Ex Morning’ Teases Big Emotions in New Trailer

Krist plays Pathaphi Sinan, a popular news anchor whose rising fame takes a nosedive when his rough personality gets exposed to the public.

He’s suspended, spirals into panic attacks and trauma, and ends up needing a serious reset.

Just when things seem hopeless, fate throws him back into the orbit of Tamtawan—played by Singto—his ex from uni, who also happens to be a producer. Yep, you read that right.

Exes forced to work together. Cue the tension, flashbacks, and maybe unresolved feelings.

Together, they’re stuck on a mission that demands teamwork, late nights, and possibly reigniting old flames.

Will they just get the job done—or will working side by side push them to confront what really ended their relationship? (And maybe what’s still left between them?)

Of course, it’s not just Singto and Krist carrying the show—The Ex Morning also features a strong line-up of GMMTV stars including Jamie Juthapich, Earn Preeyaphat, Aou Thanabhoon, Godji Tachakorn, Ohm Thitiwat and more.

Honestly, the whole cast looks stacked.

The Ex Morning premieres on 22 May and will air every Thursday at 20:30 (local time) on GMM25’s YouTube channel.

If you miss it, you can catch the re-runs on the VIU app at 22:30.

Set your alarms and maybe bring tissues—we've got a feeling this one's going to hit hard.
