Shotaro Mamiya and Wife Welcome Their First Child
First-Time Fatherhood! Shotaro Mamiya Welcomes New Baby Into the World

Looks like it’s bottles and nappies time for Shotaro Mamiya! The 31-year-old actor has officially entered dad territory with the birth of his first child.

His agency, Tristone Entertainment, broke the happy news on 2 May, thanking fans for all the love and asking for continued support as Mamiya steps into this exciting new chapter.

You might know him best as the tough-but-cool character in Tokyo Revengers 2, or from his recent role in the eerie flick Henna Ie (A Strange House), but off-screen, life just got a whole lot more heartwarming for Mamiya.

Born on 11 June 1993 in Kanagawa Prefecture, he kicked off his acting journey back in 2008 with Scrap Teacher and has since racked up an impressive list of credits.

From school dramas like Hanazakari no Kimitachi e 2011 to major titles like Ushijima the Loan Shark: The Final, Half, Blue, and Kirin ga Kuru, he's carved out a steady and respected presence in the Japanese entertainment scene.

Just last year in July 2024, Mamiya surprised fans with a quiet but heartfelt marriage announcement via his official site, revealing he’d tied the knot with his longtime partner.

And now, less than a year later—boom! Baby news.

Though the details are being kept private (no name or gender has been revealed yet), the message is clear: Mamiya’s glowing and grateful, and ready to tackle fatherhood with the same passion he brings to the screen.

Here’s to nappies, night feeds, and lots of love – congrats, Mamiya-san!
