Nippon Broadcasting System has announced the launch of its very first English-language learning podcast, fronted by none other than Sally Amaki, the multi-talented voice actress and member of idol group 22/7.
Titled Anime English Club with Sally Amaki, the programme is set to debut on Tuesday, 13 May 2025, with new episodes released weekly at 12:00 JST.
Born in the United States and fluent in both English and Japanese, Amaki brings a fresh and witty perspective to language education.
Best known for her playful persona and sharp cultural insight, she will be using well-known anime lines as a springboard to explore the nuances between Japanese and English language and culture.
