QUADLIPS Announce 6th Single “Wings Grow Back”

Quadlips Wings Grow Back 6th Single
Global 48 Unit QUADLIPS Takes Flight with 6th Single “Wings Grow Back”

The world’s first proper 48 Group unit aimed at the international stage, QUADLIPS, are wasting no time between bangers. Barely off the heels of their fifth single, the cross-group girl squad just dropped the news: they’re coming back real soon with Single No.6 titled “Wings Grow Back” — and fans are absolutely buzzing.

What’s got everyone shook is the speed. This is officially QUADLIPS’ fastest comeback since their debut — and let’s be real, that’s not exactly typical 48G behaviour. The gap between the fifth single and this upcoming track is the shortest we’ve seen yet from the quartet, suggesting they’re not here to play around. They’re building momentum, and it looks like they're aiming to stay firmly in the spotlight.

In case you’ve been living under a glowstick — QUADLIPS debuted back on 11 March 2024 as the AKB48 Group’s first-ever global unit, bringing together one member each from four sister groups across Asia. Here’s the line-up:

HINA (SKE48 – Japan)
FENI (JKT48 – Indonesia) – also repping that leader title
FAME (BNK48 – Thailand)
COLE (MNL48 – Philippines)

Four girls, four countries, one shared mission: bring 48G’s spirit to the world stage.

And yup, no surprise here — the song’s composition still has the magic touch of Yasushi Akimoto (indirectly), the founding force behind AKB48 and its entire family tree. Whether it's delicate lyrics or punchy hooks, his fingerprints are all over it.

QUADLIPS Announce 6th Single “Wings Grow Back”

No MV teasers or concept photos yet, but fans are already theorising based on the title “Wings Grow Back” — is it a comeback anthem about resilience and rising again? A fresh, international version of 48G empowerment? Or something darker and edgier? Who knows — but with QUADLIPS, it could go in any direction and still slap.

The fans are excited, saying this comeback will be very different from the group's previous single.

What’s more, FENI being at the helm continues to turn heads. She’s been steadily growing her international appeal, and this leadership stint in QUADLIPS has only added more fuel to her glowing resume. Meanwhile, the rest of the squad is clearly vibing — with each release showing tighter chemistry and a slicker global-friendly style.

For now, the exact release date’s still under wraps, but all signs point to it being just around the corner. So if you haven’t already, hit the follow buttons, refresh those YouTube subs, and get ready to loop that MV when it drops.

Looks like these wings aren’t just growing back — they’re ready to take off.
