Letycia Moreen Has Resigned from JKT48

12th Gen JKT48 Trainee Letycia Moreen Officially Graduates

Bit of bittersweet news for JKT48 fans—especially those who’ve been keeping an eye on the 12th generation girls. Letycia Moreen, or Moreen as she's fondly known, has officially stepped down from her position as a JKT48 Trainee.

The graduation took effect on 1 May 2025, marking the end of her idol journey with the group.

The announcement came via an official statement from JKT48 Operation Team, thanking fans for their continued support and confirming that, after discussions with all involved, Moreen’s decision to resign was respected by management.

Moreen joined JKT48 as a trainee on 18 November 2023, and though her time in the group was relatively short—just about a year and a half—she made a sweet impression.

She didn’t get ranked in the 7th Senbatsu Election, but she still got a slice of the spotlight through other singles like Ama Nojaku Batta and Chance no Junban.

At just 14, the Jakarta-born idol had fans charmed with her bright energy, soft smile, and a bit of that typical Gemini duality—quiet charm off-stage, but confidence when the lights came on.

While her time in JKT48 may be over, it’s hard not to wonder what’s next for this young star.

Her fanbase wrote, To Moreen: thank you for the memories, the effort, and the stage moments.

Whether you're heading back to focus on school, chasing new dreams, or just taking a well-earned break—fans will be rooting for you every step of the way.

All the best, Moreen!
