IDOLFACTORY, one of Thailand’s leading production houses renowned for its Boys Love (BL) and Girls Love (GL) content, officially unveiled its long-anticipated project, 4ELEMENT, during a major press conference held at ICONSIAM on Friday. The event, titled “4ELEMENTS: The Global Phenomenon of Girl Love PressCon” last Friday, marked a milestone in the studio’s bold expansion into large-scale GL storytelling, and quickly soared to the top of trending topics on social media.

The 4ELEMENT series is part of a collaborative mega project between IDOLFACTORY and North Star, combining four standalone stories adapted from the beloved Girls Love novel “Lovely Room” by แซลม่อน. Each story represents one of the natural elements—Air, Water, Fire, and Earth—blended with romance, drama, and character-driven narratives.

The press event featured the series’ eight lead actresses and drew enormous attention from fans and media alike. In attendance were Freen Sarocha, Becky Armstrong, Engfa Waraha, Charlotte Austin, Namneung Milin, Noey Kanteera, Apple Lapisara, Mim Panthita, along with producer Saint Suppapong. Their appearance thrilled fans, many of whom had closely followed the project’s development, which had earlier encountered some casting controversies.

Each pairing brings a unique flavor to the series:

“The Air” (เสน่หาวาโย), starring Freen and Becky, follows a police lieutenant assigned to protect a princess amid a dangerous plot involving rebels and a royal impersonator.

“The Water” (นทีร้อยเล่ห์), with Engfa and Charlotte, tells the story of a stern workaholic executive who finds her life upended by a troublesome new receptionist.

“The Fire” (ใช้รักอักนี), featuring Namneung and Noey, centres on a wealthy heiress and her childhood rival, whose love-hate dynamic flares into passion.

“The Earth” (วิวาห์ปฐพี), starring Apple and Mim, explores the slow-burn romance between a reclusive farmer and a troubled woman from a neighboring farm.

To build even more excitement, IDOLFACTORY released an official overture video on their YouTube channel the same day. The cinematic teaser showcases each actress in elemental-themed costumes, giving fans a first look at the concept's visual style. The video was quickly met with enthusiastic responses, further fuelling anticipation for the series' release.

Fans worldwide united under the hashtag #4elementspresscon on X (formerly Twitter), expressing excitement, admiration for the cast, and eagerness to support what many are calling a groundbreaking step in GL storytelling.

With its ambitious scope, high-profile cast, and cinematic flair, 4ELEMENT is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Thai drama events of the year. As production continues, both long-time fans of the genre and newcomers are watching closely to see how this elemental love story will unfold on screen.
