It’s a bittersweet update for Gyakuten Neko Punch! fans – as of 2 May 2025, Hachimitsu Nano (aka “Honey Yellow”) has officially stepped away from the group.
The 10th-gen member, who only joined back in November 2024, has decided to call it a day, choosing to focus on her studies instead of continuing her idol activities.
According to an official statement from the GNP team, Nano shared that balancing school and group commitments had become too tough.
After some serious chats with both her family and management, they’ve decided to support her wish to step down.
It’s clear the decision wasn’t taken lightly – and you can feel the respect behind it.
“To all the fans who’ve supported her, we’re truly sorry to bring such disappointing news,” the statement reads.
“But we sincerely hope the path she’s chosen leads her towards a bright and happy future.”
While her time in the group was short, Nano definitely left a sweet impression (pun fully intended).
Her sunny charm and honey-toned energy will surely be missed – both by fans and fellow members alike.
Here’s wishing her all the best in her studies and beyond.
And as for Gyakuten Neko Punch!, the cat-themed chaos continues – but there’ll definitely be a little Honey-shaped space in the lineup moving forward.
