Meet Qiao Man Man — sharp-tongued, clever, and accidentally married. She’s the shopkeeper of Ru Yi Wan Shi Fang, just out here hustling for her business… until a mix-up sees her married to Prince Fu Cheng Jin of Lu Zhao Country. Oh, and he’s “disabled” — at least that’s what everyone thinks.
What starts as a transactional mess turns into a wild ride of politics, pillow talk, and palace power plays. Man Man and Cheng Jin go from squabbling strangers to the ultimate tag team as they take on scheming second prince Fu Yun Nuo, plus Hu Er Sa, the prince of neighbouring Xi Lin Country.
But that’s not all — we’ve also got a parallel couple in the making. Princess A Li Ya (supposed to marry Cheng Jin) ends up being mistaken for someone else entirely and kidnapped by Ji Mo, Qiao Man Man’s slightly unhinged but sweet subordinate. Only problem? He’s got an odd condition — a serious phobia of girls. So yeah, that gets awkward. Fast.
