| Farewell to the Last Original: RICO Announces Graduation from Cinderella Sengen! (Official/X) |
Cinderella Sengen! has announced that founding member RICO will be graduating from the group on 31 July 2025. The news was shared on 13 May, with the group confirming that her final performance will take place at Hulic Hall Tokyo, under the fitting title, “When the Magic of Cinderella Fades” (『シンデレラの魔法が解ける時』).
RICO (りこ), affectionately known to fans as Ricotanien (りこたにえん), has been a central figure of Cinderella Sengen! since their debut on 22 December 2020.
As the group’s pastel pink representative, she remained the final original member actively performing, following the successive graduations of her fellow first-generation teammates.
Over the past four and a half years, RICO has contributed to every major single released by the group, including “Cinderella Sengen!”, “Asagao Shangri-La”, and “Hanikami Sunset”.
With her distinctive charm and quiet strength, she has been a steady presence at the heart of the group’s evolution.
In their official statement, the group expressed deep gratitude for RICO’s unwavering dedication:
“As the last of the original members, RICO continued to support Cinderella Sengen! with resolute determination, guided by her personal wish to do all she could while still a first-generation member. We are truly thankful for everything she has brought to the group.”

Discussions regarding her graduation began late last year, and after multiple conversations between RICO and the team, it was decided that her final appearance would mark her 1,682nd day as a Cinderella Sengen! member.
Following her departure, the group is set to enter a new chapter, resuming activities in a refreshed lineup at TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2025 this August.

Until then, Cinderella Sengen! will continue as a seven-member group, preparing a series of final events and performances leading up to RICO’s farewell.
