Theme song “Transcendence” powers the debut promotional video for the IP’s launch across Shokugan and Gashapon lines
BANDAI has officially unveiled LINK TRAVELERS, an exciting new multimedia intellectual property that bridges the worlds of collectible figures and immersive storytelling.
The project is built around two major product pillars: “SIDE:C” (CANDY = Shokugan) and “SIDE:G” (GASHAPON = Capsule Toys).
Adding musical muscle to this grand launch is Angelina 1/3, vocalist of the all-female rock band Gacharic Spin and widely recognised as the “Radio Star of the Reiwa era,” who performs the theme song for the first promotional video now available on YouTube and major streaming platforms.
Following the immense popularity of the Gashapon Quest series, LINK TRAVELERS was first teased in November 2024 and quickly attracted widespread anticipation from collectors and fans of Japanese pop culture.
Officially launching in May 2025, the new line pushes the boundaries of collectible toys by combining intricate figure design with customisable elements, allowing users to create and reimagine characters in a rich fantasy universe.
The centrepiece of this launch is the promotional video released on 28 April 2025, showcasing the world of LINK TRAVELERS through both visuals and sound.
The video is accompanied by the electrifying theme song “Transcendence,” produced and composed by Eijun Suganami of rock band THE BLACK HORN.
Angelina 1/3 delivers a striking vocal performance, layered atop dynamic instrumentation that includes Hana’s fierce twin bass drumming — a signature of Gacharic Spin’s high-octane sound.
BANDAI has also released comments from the creative minds behind the project.
Angelina 1/3 shared her excitement about interpreting the world of LINK TRAVELERS through music, noting how the song’s intensity mirrors the expansive adventure of the IP.
Producer Eijun Suganami described the creative process as “a fusion of rock emotion and fantasy narrative,” while K. Sawa, the project lead at BANDAI, emphasised how the music and storytelling work hand-in-hand to bring the world to life.
