Founding Flame Flickers Out: Amamine Touko’s Floor Kitchen. Graduation Confirmed (X) |
Another chapter’s closing in the world of J-pop idols — Floor Kitchen. has officially announced that founding member Amamine Touko (甘峰とう子) will be graduating from the group next month, on 15 June 2025, right after her 20th birthday celebrations.
Touko, affectionately known by fans as “Touko” (とぅーこ), first stepped into the idol scene back in October 2023 under the name Amada Touko as part of IDOL★ST∀R MINE, before moving on to co-found Floor Kitchen. early in February 2024. Her member colour? None other than Teriyaki Orange — which she’s proudly carried ever since.
But now, the bittersweet time has come.
According to the official statement from Floor Kitchen.’s management, Touko herself approached them with the desire to graduate ahead of upcoming job-hunting and internship commitments. Rather than get caught mid-schedule, she expressed her wish to bow out while things are still in her control — a mature and thoughtful move that the team fully respects.

"After many discussions, we’ve decided she’ll graduate following her birthday event on 15 June,” the group stated. “Though she’ll be stepping away from the stage, this is a forward-looking choice made with her future in mind.”
Because of this decision, Touko will also be sitting out of the group’s upcoming debut single — a detail that’s sure to leave some fans a bit gutted, but ultimately makes sense given the circumstances.
While it’s always tough to say goodbye, there’s something special about idols leaving on their own terms, and Touko’s exit feels exactly that — a confident stride toward whatever’s next. Whether it’s in the business world or somewhere behind the scenes, we’ll be keeping an eye out for what she does next.
Just a polite reminder from management — fans are kindly asked not to reach out to Touko or the other members directly regarding her graduation.
As Floor Kitchen. carries on with five, we’ll be raising a Teriyaki Orange glowstick one last time for Touko on 15 June. Until then, let’s enjoy every last bit of the ride.
