Hololive’s diving headfirst into the real-world goods game — and this time, it’s fizzy.
From Tuesday, 29 April 2025, fans can crack open a can of “HoloCharge!” — a brand-new energy drink launched by CyberAgent in collaboration with Hololive Production.
And the debut release isn’t just any old VTube tie-in — it’s a sparkling tribute to Hololive Gamers, the beloved unit boasting over 7.95 million YouTube subscribers.
Yep, your favourite VTubers are now powering you up with caffeine and cute can art.
Here’s the juice (pun intended): HoloCharge! Vol.1 is a non-fruity, orange-flavoured carbonated energy drink packed with caffeine, arginine, and B vitamins (that’s B2, B6, and B12 for the curious).
It’s meant to clear your head and give you that gamer boost — whether you're mid-stream, binge-watching archives, or, let’s be real, just knackered after work.
And the cans? Oh, they’re proper collectible. Four different designs, all sporting exclusive illustrations of the Hololive Gamers crew — specially drawn for this release. A visual treat before you even crack it open.
Retail-wise, the drink will be available at select FamilyMart stores in Tokyo, plus Don Quijote, Gamers, Animate stores nationwide, and a few more including HMV, TSUTAYA (only two locations: Shibuya and Osaka’s Ebisubashi), and online via Cyber Goods Store, Gamers Online Shop, and HMV&BOOKS.
But heads up — online orders come in 24-can sets. That’s commitment.
