Well, here’s a bit of unexpected showbiz drama that made waves this week! It all kicked off when Taiwanese star Makiyo Kawashima appeared on the very first episode of the new radio show “蔷栗胶 Qiáng Lì Jiāo” hosted by fellow celeb.

During their chat, things took a spicy turn when Makiyo started talking about her not-so-sweet memories in the entertainment biz — specifically accusing a certain female celeb from her early days of going big and then acting like they didn’t even know each other.

And yep, she didn’t bother keeping it vague — Makiyo straight-up said she was talking about Rainie Yang.

That stirred up plenty of noise online, but Rainie’s camp wasn’t having any of it.

Her management team responded swiftly and firmly, saying Makiyo’s claims were completely made up and nothing but “malicious slander.”

They added that the accusations were baseless and not even worth a response.

“We hope an old friend can find peace and wish her well,” they said — classy but cutting.

Rainie’s studio also issued an official statement denying everything, and her celeb pals didn’t hesitate to show some public support.

Pop star Wilber Pan chimed in, saying he’s known Rainie Yang for over 20 years and she’s never changed one bit.

Actress Michelle Chen Yanxi echoed the same, calling Rainie someone who looked after her from the very start and has always been the same kind-hearted soul.

With the heat building, Makiyo eventually backtracked and posted a short apology: “Sorry for causing trouble to an old friend.” Simple, but probably necessary.

All in all — a bit of old-school celebrity drama, a few sharp words, and a quick patch-up. Let’s hope that’s the end of it… for now.
