Namping Napatsakorn firmly denies vaping allegations: "Let's stop hurting each other with false stories"
Not everything you see flying around on social media is true — especially when there's no evidence or clear source to back it up.
As Namping Napatsakorn, one of Domundi’s rising actors, sadly found out, careless rumours can easily damage a person’s reputation.
Namping, who recently gained popularity after starring in the series Khemjira, found himself at the centre of unwanted attention when accusations surfaced online claiming he was seen using a vape (specifically a pod) in a public place.
The claims first popped up on X (formerly Twitter) from an account @/chm1373311, alleging, "The actor and MV model from โต๊ะริม was smoking in public."
(โต๊ะริม being a well-known song by Nont Tanont, for which Namping appeared in the MV.)
The issue quickly caught fire because using vape pods has been illegal in Thailand since 2014.
With no proof ever provided, fans immediately pushed back, demanding evidence — which, notably, the original poster failed to deliver.
Not one to let false claims slide, Namping took to X on Monday (21 April) to clear the air himself.
In a calm yet firm statement, he denied the accusations completely, saying, "It’s not true. These days, we should stop hurting one another by speaking carelessly without proof. It's harmful not just to individuals, but to entire communities."

He added that he had already discussed the matter with his agency, Domundi TV, and reminded everyone that vaping in public is indeed not acceptable behaviour — something he personally condemns.
Importantly, Namping stressed that fans and social media users alike should be mindful about spreading fake news or harsh words online, highlighting how damaging it can be for people's mental wellbeing.
He asked his fans to also uphold these values, urging them not to return harshness with more harshness, but instead to create a fandom environment built on positivity.
Following Namping’s statement, Domundi TV issued their own announcement, making it clear they won't hesitate to take legal action against anyone who spreads false information that damages the reputation of their artists.
Interestingly, soon after the statement went public, four X accounts suspected of fuelling the rumour — @/prnmwx_, @/nnuqixer, @/paxth_xq, and @/sk_creamth — stepped forward with apologies.
They admitted they were discussing a celebrity allegedly vaping in public but insisted they hadn’t named anyone specifically.
Unfortunately, the conversation spiralled out of control and led to the misunderstanding involving Namping. The users expressed genuine regret and apologised directly to Namping and his fans.
At the end of the day, Namping's approach to handling the situation with dignity and clarity has only earned him more respect from his fans, many of whom have praised him for his maturity and strength in the face of baseless accusations.
